The 27th Edition of Metropolis Canada
Canada’s largest annual Conference on Immigration and Integration
March 13-15, 2025 | The Westin Harbor Castle
Toronto, Ontario
9 am to 5 pm each day
Canada's immigration ecosystem is undergoing significant changes, shaped by evolving public discourse, ongoing economic challenges, and social realities. As the nation's immigration planning now combines permanent residents and temporary workers, it is critical to revisit policies and practices that align with economic, social, and humanitarian goals.
The 27th annual edition of the National Metropolis will provide a platform for exploring critical questions about the future of immigration in Canada, with a focus on best practices, research, and collaborative strategies for shaping a sustainable and inclusive immigration system. This conference invites proposals that offer recommendations, innovative insights and actionable solutions on several pressing issues.
We are thrilled to have Snaptique at this year's 27th Metropolis Canada Conference. On the first day of the conference, drop by the photo booth and from 3pm to 6pm on March 13th and create unforgettable memories! They are the leading photo booth rental in Ottawa, Toronto and Niagara.

For those who may be in Toronto the day before the conference, with the support of the Diversity Institute, the Association for Canadian Studies/Metropolis Institute will launch a publication on Holocaust education. The event will feature a small reception and a visit of the Auschwitz exhibit. There is a $50.00 fee for this event. To register, kindly click on this link.
This event, supported by the Diversity Institute, will feature the launch of a special edition of Canadian Issues, the flagship publication of the Association for Canadian Studies (ACS), focused on Holocaust Memory and Learning: Canadian Perspectives on Contemporary and Future Challenges. Following the publication launch, we invite you to visit the powerful Auschwitz: Not Long Ago, Not Far Away exhibit at the ROM, which provides a deeply moving and educational experience on the history of Auschwitz.
The publication, made possible through the generous support of Canadian Heritage, brings together diverse Canadian perspectives on the evolving challenges of Holocaust remembrance and education. This is an important part of ACS’s broader mandate to engage with historical memory, promote human rights, and foster educational initiatives that address contemporary challenges. The articles in this issue highlight the significance of preserving the memory of the Holocaust, addressing misinformation and denial, and ensuring that its universal lessons are passed onto future generations.
